Today, the team put on a great performance during München TT, with Tarjei Amundsen finishing 3rd, Jaap Maaskant 6th and Benne Cappon 9th. This means the team has gained a promotion to division 4. While this result will help the team, especially in terms of finance, it is not all good news.
The team had it's eyes set on the tour "Fast on Wheels", a tour in the 5th division, and it could seem that the club will not be able to participate this season. The team is set for demotion on day 76, the day after sign ups start.
The manager chooses to look on the bright side, and he says the money will come in handy for Benoit Köehler and his training. Tarjei Amundsen on the other hand, is mostly disappointed that he will not be able to compete for a high youth placement. Amundsen had this to say:
"One step forward, two steps back..."

I'm staying positive, I mean, I got 30k from that race, money which will come in handy when I will be training Benoit Köehler. While I would have liked for Tarjei to get a shot at a high YC placement, it's not the end of the world. It is still "just" a tour.
How fast does the tours usually fill up? I figured they would fill up pretty fast, and will therefore not be open on day 76, but I've neve
:/ I was hoping Tarjei could win the YC this year!
bad luck, but then again, you might win a race in 4
